Play Boy Magazine , April 1967 reviews “Chelsea Girls” film … “it is a movie only because it appears on film in a movie house”

Same issue there is a monster plus 20 pages article “The Histrtory of Sex in Cinema – Part XV Experimental Films” by Arthur Knight and Hollis Alpert. Plenty of Warhol Films references: “The Chelsea Girls”, “Empire” , “Sleep”, “Dracula”,”Tarzan & Jane” and more ! Of course all the other Underground Film-Maker heroes too!

Not a Film related stuff but i think this is a really nice finding. Warhol´s “Silver Clouds” on Los Angeles Free Press May 13, 1966. According to the review only 100 were made available at $50 a piece at The Ferus Gallery Exhibtion, rarely shown in their original Warhol Plastic Bag.

Described as”the sounds of an extraordiary year”. Produced by WNEW Radio News, 565 Fifth Ave. New York, it was originally airplayed December 29, 1968 and January 1, 1969

Side 3 contains a reference of Andy Warhol shooting by Valerie Solanas on June 3rd 1968 and an interview with her shortly after the failed attempt to kill Warhol.

The LAFP was actually a reprint from the original EVO reproduced here.

Kenneth Goldsmith on his “I´ll Be Your Mirror: The Selected Andy Warhol Interviews 1962-1987” Chapter 12 says: “Often quoted from but rarelly reprinted in full, this interview is considered the most important that Andy Warhol gave in the 1960´s ” ….
